OUR MISSION
Preventing Child Labour and
Helping Child Labourers get
Good Health and Quality
Education
Due to the increase in maternal mortality, poverty, diseases and illiteracy, many African children are dying from negligence and preventable diseases. Owing to the above developments, we decided to light a candle than curse the darkness. We have decided to absorb and take care of as many motherless and fatherless children as our resources can sustain.
We intend to source for at least 20 plots of land, acquire materials and expertise and build orphanages in Six States in Nigeria. We will begin by establishing the first phase of the project in Imo State. The first phase will comprise 80 self-contained rooms situated in one complex in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State. When completed, the rooms will be equipped with computers, furniture and other educational equipments that will make the first set of 200 parentless children feel at home and have a sense of belonging. A central library, play ground and a chapel will be part of the edifice. The project is estimated to cost £11.5 million Pounds and will be completed in December 2012. We intend to source for and provide experts on children welfare and professional teachers to run the home.
